Please read our T&Cs to know what House World Direct (“HWD”) is providing for you the user, what its responsibilities are to you, and what your responsibilities are when using the website and services provided.

1. Our service

1. 1 House World Direct Ltd provides a website portal for the private homeseller to place an advert which can be viewed by potential buyers. This service costs £25.00, inclusive of VAT at 17.5%, for 6 months. There are no other costs; the only charge is the one-off fee for 6 months.

1.2 Fees are in pounds sterling and are payable upon completion of the registration process. We ask that you keep us informed by updating the status of your property when you receive an offer, and to remove it from the website once it is no longer available for sale. This enables us to keep our site up-to-date and avoid wasting buyers’ time. Once your property details have been published to our site, our service is deemed to have been fully delivered

2. Accepting our service

2.1 By using the website "www.houseworldirect.com", the user ("You") agree to these Terms and Conditions. You must be the legal owner of the property (or have Power Of Attorney) to advertise, and you agree to grant copyright license to House World Direct Ltd to publish your uploaded descriptions and photographs.

2.2 You agree to allow House World Direct Ltd to use your uploaded property details on your behalf. The details you advertise must not be misleading or inaccurate, and House World Direct reserves the right to edit or delete your descriptions where deemed appropriate.

2.3 House World Direct Ltd accepts no financial liability for any interruption in service or any liability for any loss arising due to our negligence and you agree to indemnify us in respect of any claims against us or expenses incurred by breach of copyright issues, inaccuracies created or incorrect property descriptions.

2.4 House World Direct Ltd cannot be held responsible for you receiving no offers or viewings, no sale being made, sales falling through, or the sale price being lower than your original asking price.

3. Security

3.1 Our system is as secure as we are able to make it and we do not pass your details to any third party without your prior consent. We are registered to collect information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

4. Complaints Procedure

4.1 We do all we can to provide an exemplary service. However, should you have any issues relating to our service please, in the first instance, contact us via email at customerservices@houseworlddirect.com

5. Changes to Terms and Conditions

5.1 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to you. If we change the Terms and Conditions, it will be posted to the web site and become effective at the time of posting.

6. Any other business

6.1. In general, your information and activities on the House World Direct Ltd website must not be in breach of copyright, offensive or abusive in any way, be fraudulent be in breach of any applicable or relevant laws or regulations, in infringement of any third parties copyrights, patents or trademarks or compromise any rights of privacy, create liability for us or cause us to lose, partial or whole, the service of our ISP or other suppliers, liable to contain any form of computer virus or anything else that might interrupt or disrupt our normal operating procedures or used to promote unsolicited products or services.

7. House World Direct Ltd's Liability.

HWD Ltd doesn’t guarantee or warrant that this website will operate or operate error-free. The website and its server may not be free of harmful mechanisms or computer viruses. Should use of the House World Direct Ltd website result in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or data, House World Direct Ltd is not responsible for those costs.

HWD Ltd makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the material, website, website content, services, software, text, graphics and links. The House World Direct Ltd website and content are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties of any kind. HWD Ltd disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement with respect to our services or any HWD Ltd website or the functionality, performance or results thereof.

HWD Ltd’s maximum liability arising out of or in connection with any House World Direct Ltd website or your use of the website content, regardless of the cause of action (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed £50 and to the extent permitted by law.

8. Consequential Damages Disclaimer.

HWD Ltd, its suppliers or any third parties mentioned on any HWD Ltd website are in no way liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, loss of business or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) resulting from the use or inability to use any World Direct website and the website content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not HWD Ltd is advised of the possibility of such damages to the extent permitted by law.

9. You agree to protect HWD Ltd.

By using this website you agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend HWD Ltd, its agents, directors, officers, and employees against any claims without limitation, reasonable costs - legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from
(a) any content and material you provide to a House World Direct Ltd website
(b) any content that you use from the website, or
(c) your breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
HWD Ltd shall promptly provide to you notice about any such claim and shall assist you at your expense in defending any such claim.

10. Viewing the Website outside of the United Kingdom.

HWD Ltd makes no claims that the Website Content may be lawfully viewed or downloaded outside of the United Kingdom. Access to the website content may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the website from outside of the United Kingdom, you are responsible for complying with the laws of the country you are in.

11. Governing Law.

Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this agreement lie exclusively with the English Courts and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

12. Termination - our right to end this agreement.

If you breach this agreement HWD Ltd reserves the right to pursue legal remedies, including deleting your profile from this website and any other World Direct website and immediately terminating your membership.

13. Entirety

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and House World Direct Ltd with respect to the use of the website. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will only be by HWD Ltd issuing a revised posting on this page.

14. Privacy policy

At World Direct we make the privacy of your information a top priority.  We do not and never will sell your information to third parties.
